Terms of Service
Effective September 21, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By using Puckflow.io you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use the site. Puckflow is operated by Puckflow LLC, an Indiana limited liability company, whose registered office is c/o Northwest Registered Agent LLC, 5534 Saint Joe Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46835. “We” and “us” below mean that company. You must be at least 18 to use the site.
What Puckflow is, and what it is not
Puckflow publishes statistics and models about NHL games: expected goals, shot maps, workload, projections and similar. Everything on it is information and opinion.
It is not betting advice, gambling advice, financial advice, or a prediction of what will happen. Our expected-goals model is a statistical estimate fitted to past seasons; projections are estimates. They are frequently wrong about individual games, which is the nature of the thing. If you make a wager based on anything here, that decision and its consequences are entirely yours. You are responsible for knowing whether betting is legal where you are, and for complying with that law.
Puckflow does not accept wagers, process wagers, or take any cut of one.
If gambling is causing you harm, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org.
Where the data comes from
Game data comes from the NHL’s public API. We do not control it. It is sometimes delayed, incomplete or simply wrong — shot coordinates in particular are often missing early in a game and during preseason, and when they are missing our derived numbers cannot be computed. We show you when that is happening rather than inventing a number, but we cannot promise accuracy, completeness or timeliness of anything on the site.
Derived statistics are ours: our model, our assumptions, our mistakes.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Much of Puckflow is free, and some of it is intended to stay that way. Puckflow Pro is billed in advance through Stripe on the term you choose — monthly or annual — and renews automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel any time. You can cancel from your account or by emailing us, and it takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Monthly: no refund for the current month. When you cancel, you keep access until the month ends, and we do not refund the unused part of it.
- Annual: full refund within 30 days. Ask within 30 days of the charge and we refund the whole year, no questions and no partial-use deduction. After 30 days an annual term runs to its end and is not refunded. A year is a lot to ask of someone for a product this young, and you should be able to change your mind.
- If something on our side went badly wrong, email us whatever the term or the timing — we would rather sort it out than argue.
- Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will email you at least 30 days first. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments may suspend access until resolved.
Founding subscribers. People who joined the early list before pricing existed were publicly promised $5 per month for as long as they keep their subscription active. That commitment stands at $5 regardless of the list price, and price changes do not apply to it. If you cancel, the founding rate is not reinstated.
Free features can change or end. If we move something that is free today behind a paywall, we will say so in advance to the email list rather than doing it quietly.
Using the site reasonably
Please don’t:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or hit our API in an automated way
- republish or resell our derived data as your own product
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site
- use it for anything illegal, or to operate a betting service
Share cards and screenshots are meant to be shared — that is what they are for. Post them anywhere, with attribution to puckflow.io.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or endangers the service for others.
Who owns what
The site, its design, its models and its derived statistics belong to us. Raw NHL game facts are not ours and we claim nothing over them. Team names, logos and marks belong to their owners.
Puckflow is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Hockey League or any NHL team.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost wagers or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes, and getting in touch
We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do, and for material changes we will email the list. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
Questions, cancellations and complaints all go to support@puckflow.io. Privacy questions are covered in the Privacy Policy.
